MemorialCare Senior Plus at Orange Coast Medical Center is a free membership enrichment program available to all seniors, age 55 or better, and is a community service from Orange Coast Medical Center, the only nonprofit hospital in Fountain Valley. Members enjoy discounts in the gift shop, café and cafeteria at Orange Coast Medical Center, as well as free non-emergency, non-urgent medical transportation (limitations may apply).

Advance Care Planning
Thursday, April 15, 3 – 4:30 p.m.
A licensed clinical social worker with Orange Coast Medical Center will join us to discuss advance care planning, and the differences between a Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) and an advance directive. Advance directives will be mailed to registered participants following the class.
Wednesday, April 28, 11 a.m. – Noon
Hubert Wong, M.D., chair of emergency medicine at Orange Coast Medical Center, will discuss signs and symptoms of stroke, as well as how to recognize a possible stroke in others.

Keeping Your Kidneys Healthy With Diabetes Podcast
Diabetes is a multi-systemic disease that affects many organs – most commonly the eyes, nerves and kidneys.
